§ 25338 County Service Exclusions

Key Takeaways

  • •The county won't do certain jobs, like some special services for cities or other agencies.
  • •They won't do extra police work that's already covered by other rules.
  • •They won't do building or construction work that needs to be bid on by others.
  • •They won't do jobs that need a special license, like some professional work.

Example

If a city wants the county to fix up an old school building by painting and adding new furniture.

The county can't do this job because the law says they won't handle building work like painting or furnishing.
