§ 23153 Trinity County Boundaries

Key Takeaways

  • •This law describes the borders of Trinity County in California.
  • •The borders follow mountain tops and lines between other counties like Tehama, Shasta, and Humboldt.
  • •The borders were marked by a person named Wm. H. Fauntleroy in 1872.
  • •The description uses landmarks like rivers and section corners to define the boundaries.

Example

Imagine you are hiking along the top of a mountain range in California. You start at a marked corner near Mendocino County and follow the mountain tops. As you walk, you pass by the edges of Tehama, Shasta, and Humboldt counties. Eventually, you loop back to where you started.

This law is like a map that tells you exactly where Trinity County starts and ends. It uses mountain tops, rivers, and lines between other counties to draw the borders. If you were to walk along these borders, you would follow the path described in the law.
