§ 21028 Temporary Public Service Exclusions

Key Takeaways

  • •Some jobs are not regular, like temporary or seasonal work.
  • •People in these jobs might not get the same benefits as full-time workers.
  • •The law says these jobs are still called 'public service' even if they are not full-time.

Example

A person works as a lifeguard only during the summer.

This job is seasonal, so the lifeguard might not get the same benefits as a full-time worker, but it is still considered public service.
