§ 20961 Service Credit Annual Limit

• •You can't get credit for more than one year of work in a single year.
• •Even if you work extra hours or multiple jobs, it still only counts as one year.
• •This rule started in 1996.

If you work two different jobs in the same year, like being a teacher and a librarian,

you still only get credit for one year of work, not two.
