§ 20892 Combined School District Service

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone works for more than one school district, but the same people are in charge of all those districts,
  • •their work time counts as if they worked for just one school district.
  • •This makes it easier to keep track of their work and benefits.

Example

A teacher works part-time in two different schools, but both schools are run by the same group of people.

Instead of counting their work as two separate jobs, it’s treated like one job for things like pay and benefits.
