§ 20587 Contract Termination For Transfers

The board may enter into an agreement in accordance with Section 20585 for termination of a contract that has been in effect for at least five years with respect to local members if particular functions of the contracting agency and local members have been transferred to a district or a county service area that participates in a county retirement system. The contract shall continue with respect to all other employees of the contracting agency. (Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 906, Sec. 65. Effective January 1, 1997.)
