§ 12933 Local Human Relations Liaison

Key Takeaways

  • •The state must work with local human relations groups.
  • •They must share information with these groups unless the law says it's secret.
  • •This helps cities and counties handle problems better.

Example

A city wants to know how many people complained about unfair treatment at work.

The state must give them this info unless it's private, like someone's personal details.
