§ 12810 Agency Property Transfer Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •Two big groups (Health and Welfare Agency and Resources Agency) now own and control everything that used to belong to the Human Relations Agency.
  • •This includes things like papers, offices, money, land, and other stuff the Human Relations Agency used to have.
  • •This change happened because some duties and powers were moved from the Human Relations Agency to these two groups.

Example

Imagine your school’s art club gets closed, and all its supplies like paints, brushes, and paper are given to the science club and the sports team.

Just like the art supplies are now controlled by the science club and sports team, all the stuff the Human Relations Agency had is now controlled by the Health and Welfare Agency and the Resources Agency.
