§ 12776 Agency Coordination Prevents Duplication

Key Takeaways

  • •Groups getting money from the government must work together to avoid doing the same things.
  • •They should share plans and activities to help as many people as possible.
  • •The goal is to make sure services are not wasted and reach everyone who needs them.

Example

Two different groups in a town both get money to teach kids how to read.

Instead of both groups teaching the same kids in the same way, they should talk to each other and plan. Maybe one group teaches younger kids and the other teaches older kids. This way, more kids learn to read, and no effort is wasted.
