§ 14805 Credit Union Member Meetings

• •10 members or 3% of the total membership can request a special meeting.
• •The credit union must send notice that includes the date, time, place, and purpose of the meeting.
• •Meetings can be held partly or fully online if the credit union's articles or bylaws don't prohibit it.

A group of members wants to vote on a new savings plan. They send a written request, so the credit union must schedule a special meeting and tell everyone the date, time, place, and why it's being held. The meeting can also be conducted over a video call if the credit union allows remote meetings.

Because 10 members (or 3% of the total membership, whichever is larger) asked for the meeting, the credit union must give notice with the meeting details. The meeting can be in person or online, as long as the credit union's rules don't forbid it.
