§ 7362 Grant Program Development Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •The government will create a grant program to fund activities that match the goals of Section 7361.
  • •A special group (advisory committee) helps decide which projects get money and checks grant applications before decisions are made.
  • •The committee also helps tell people about the grants so more can apply.

Example

A school wants money to start a program that helps kids eat healthier lunches.

The school can apply for a grant under this program. The advisory committee will review the application and give advice to the government on whether to fund it.
