§ 10771 San Francisco Fish Refuge Boundaries

This law sets aside a piece of land in San Mateo County as a San Francisco Fish and Game Refuge by drawing a line around it using nearby roads and property borders.

Key Takeaways

  • •The law creates a special wildlife area called a refuge.
  • •It tells exactly where the refuge is by naming roads, fences, and property edges.
  • •Everything inside those lines is covered by the refuge rules.

Example

A family goes hiking on Skyline Boulevard and steps onto the land inside the described lines.

Because that spot is now part of the refuge, the family must follow any wildlife protection rules there – for example, they can’t hunt or disturb the animals.
