§ 79161 Judicial Relief For Noncompliance

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone doesn't follow the rules in a written notice, the boss or a group can ask a court to make them stop.
  • •The court can tell them to stop right away (like a timeout) or forever (like a permanent rule).
  • •This is only for big rules, not little problems.

Example

A factory keeps dumping bad stuff in a river after being told to stop.

The government can go to court and ask a judge to make the factory stop right away or forever. The judge can say 'stop now' or 'never do it again'.
