§ 77057 Filling Producer Commission Vacancies

• •If a producer member or alternate producer member leaves the commission (because they can't serve anymore, they die, they're removed, or they quit), the remaining producer members get to pick someone new to fill that spot.
• •The new person has to finish the rest of the term (the time left) of the person who left.
• •The new person must meet all the same rules and requirements as the person they're replacing.

Imagine a farmer who is part of a group that helps decide rules for selling milk. If that farmer stops being a milk producer or moves away, they can't be in the group anymore.

The other farmers in the group will vote to pick a new farmer to take their place. The new farmer has to follow all the same rules as the old one and will serve only until the original term is over.
