§ 76317 Producer Commission Elections

• •The director must tell all producers in each area about meetings or elections for the commission.
• •Producers can be contacted by mail or invited to meetings to choose people for the commission.
• •If there’s a meeting to vote, producers must get a written notice at least 15 days before the meeting.

A group of farmers in a district need to pick someone to represent them on a farming commission.

The director has to send letters to all the farmers telling them about a meeting to vote. The letters must be sent at least 15 days before the meeting so everyone has time to prepare.
