§ 76085 Commission Executive Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The commission can hire a boss and other workers to help do their job.
  • •If a worker does something bad or breaks the rules, the director tells the commission to fix it.
  • •If the commission doesn’t fix the problem, the director can fire the worker.

Example

Imagine the commission hires a manager for a park. The manager starts letting their friends use the park for free, which isn’t fair to everyone else.

The director finds out and tells the commission to stop the manager. If the commission does nothing, the director can fire the manager.
