§ 75117 Handler Election Procedures

• •The director will organize a vote for handlers to join the commission, either by mail or in a meeting.
• •Handlers must get a written notice about the meeting at least 15 days before it happens.
• •If a handler works in more than one area, they must pick one area to vote in before the election.

A farmer who sells milk in multiple counties gets a letter saying there will be a meeting in 20 days to vote for new members of the dairy commission.

The farmer must choose which county they will vote in before the meeting happens. They can't vote in more than one county.
