§ 62604 Handler Payment Default Notice

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone doesn't pay what they owe on time, they get a warning.
  • •If they don't fix it in one day, the boss sends a notice to everyone involved.
  • •The notice tells people who didn't pay and what rules apply.
  • •People who are owed money can then ask for their money back using special rules.

Example

A farmer sells milk to a company, but the company doesn't pay on time.

The farmer gets a warning. If the company still doesn't pay in one day, the boss sends a notice to all farmers. The notice says who didn't pay and tells the farmers they can ask for their money back using special rules.
