• •A group of people (the board) helps the secretary manage a special fund.
• •They decide how much money is needed if the fund runs low.

Imagine a school savings jar for field trips. A group of teachers helps the principal manage the jar.

If the jar doesn’t have enough money for a trip, the teachers can suggest adding a small fee to lunch prices to fill it back up. The board does the same thing for the fund.
