§ 62150 License Suspension Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •If you get a license with special rules (like 'you must do this' or 'you can't do that'), you have to follow those rules.
  • •If you break those rules, the boss in charge can take away your license.
  • •They have to follow a fair process to take your license away—they can't just do it without warning.

Example

A restaurant gets a license to sell alcohol, but the license says they can't serve drinks after midnight. One night, they serve beer at 1 AM.

Because the restaurant broke the rule on their license, the boss in charge can take away their alcohol license—but they have to follow the right steps to do it.
