§ 6211 Petition Filing In Sections

• •You can turn in a petition in parts, not all at once.
• •Each part must follow all the rules for a petition.
• •You don’t need all the signatures in one part.

A group wants to get a new park built and needs 1,000 signatures on a petition.

They can turn in 200 signatures now, then 300 next week, and the rest later. Each batch must follow the rules, but they don’t need all 1,000 at once.
