§ 5564 Commissioner Nuisance Abatement Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •This law doesn't stop officials from taking action against something dangerous.
  • •If something is a big danger to nearby places, they can still fix it fast.
  • •Other laws can still be used to stop problems that hurt neighbors.

Example

A factory is dumping bad chemicals that could hurt nearby houses.

Even if this law doesn't cover it, the officials can still use other laws to make the factory stop right away.
