§ 53302 Nursery Stock Advertising Definition

Key Takeaways

  • •An 'advertisement' is anything that talks about plants or trees for sale.
  • •It can be in any form, like a sign, a flyer, or a TV ad.
  • •But if it's written on the plant's label, it's not considered an ad.

Example

A store puts up a big sign saying 'Tomato Plants for Sale - $5 each'.

This sign is an advertisement because it talks about plants for sale and it's not on the plant's label.
