§ 52879 Board Legal Authority Powers

Upon implementation of Article 9.5 (commencing with Section 52951), the board shall have the power to sue and be sued, and to enter into contracts. Copies of its proceedings, records, and acts, when certified by the secretary of the board, shall be admissible in evidence in all courts of the state, and shall be prima facie evidence of the truth of all statements therein. (Amended by Stats. 2008, Ch. 189, Sec. 10. Effective January 1, 2009. Conditionally inoperative on January 1, 2014, as prescribed in Section 52991.)
