§ 52282 County Enforcement Authority

The secretary and, under the supervision and direction of the secretary, the commissioner of each county and the qualified representative of the commissioner, shall enforce this chapter and carry out its provisions and requirements. The secretary shall have the discretion to determine which enforcement activities are conducted by the commissioner in each county and which enforcement activities shall be conducted by department personnel. (Amended by Stats. 2004, Ch. 459, Sec. 1. Effective January 1, 2005.)
