§ 40760 Marketing Order Enforcement Exemption

Key Takeaways

  • •If there's already a special rule for selling farm stuff, this law won't be used.
  • •The boss in charge won't make people follow this law if another rule is already doing the same thing.
  • •This law steps back when another law is already handling the same job.

Example

Imagine there's a rule that says how oranges can be sold in California.

If that orange rule is already working, this law won't try to make new rules for oranges. It lets the other rule do its job.
