§ 38906 Conflict Resolution Priority

• •If two laws say different things about the same topic, this law wins.
• •This law is stronger than the Health and Safety Code when they disagree.
• •It only applies if both laws are about the same person and the same thing.

A factory has rules about safety from two different laws.

If one rule says workers must wear gloves and the other says they don’t have to, the rule from this law (Section 38906) is the one you must follow.
