§ 37103 Package Quality Labeling Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •Labels on packages must show the quality level of the product.
  • •The way these labels look and where they go is decided by rules from the director.
  • •These rules were made in 1967.

Example

You buy a bottle of orange juice at the store.

The label on the bottle must clearly say if it's '100% pure' or 'made from concentrate' in the exact way the rules say—like font size or where it's placed on the bottle.
