§ 35921 Certified Milk Standards

  • •Certified milk must follow special rules to be sold.
  • •These rules are made by a local group called the county milk commission.
  • •The rules cover how milk is made and sold in that county.

Example

The farm must follow all the rules set by the county milk commission, like keeping cows clean and storing milk at the right temperature. If they don’t, they can’t call their milk 'certified'.
