§ 34263 Milk Test Record Authentication

Key Takeaways

  • •A licensed tester must sign each page of test results to prove they are real.
  • •The tester must put a copy of the test results in a special box right after testing.
  • •The box is provided by the person buying or selling milk or cream.
  • •The box must be made, sealed, and kept safe following the rules set by the director.

Example

A dairy farmer sells milk to a grocery store. Before selling, a licensed tester checks the milk to make sure it's safe.

The tester writes down the results, signs the paper, and puts a copy in a special box given by the grocery store. This box is locked and kept safe so no one can change the results.
