§ 33765 Milk Equipment Use Restrictions

Key Takeaways

  • •Milk containers and tools can only be used for milk and milk products.
  • •You can't use milk jugs or cheese-making tools for anything else, like storing juice or soap.
  • •This rule helps keep milk clean and safe.

Example

You finish a gallon of milk and want to use the empty jug to store homemade lemonade.

This is not allowed. The milk jug must only be used for milk or milk products, like storing more milk or making yogurt. Using it for lemonade breaks the rule.
