§ 33150 Milk Inspection Service Authority

• •The boss can change, keep, or cancel who checks the milk for safety.
• •If the boss doesn’t like the current milk checker, they can pick a new one.
• •The boss can also decide to do the milk checks themselves if there’s enough money.
• •If there’s not enough money, the boss can’t start their own milk checking team.

Imagine your school’s lunch milk is checked by a company to make sure it’s safe. The principal (the boss) doesn’t think they’re doing a good job.

The principal can fire that company and hire a new one to check the milk. Or, if the school has enough money, the principal can have the school’s own team do the checking instead. But if the school is broke, they can’t start their own team.
