§ 27597 Load Delivery Verification

• •When a load or shipment arrives at its destination, a police officer must check that it was delivered to the right person and place.
• •The officer must sign a paper (the disposal order receipt) to confirm the delivery.
• •The signed paper must be sent back to the officer who first gave the order to move the load.

A truck carrying old tires is ordered by the police to take them to a recycling center. When the truck arrives, a police officer checks that the tires are delivered to the right recycling center.

The officer at the recycling center signs a paper to say the tires were delivered correctly. Then, they send this paper back to the officer who first told the truck where to go.
