§ 27521 Egg Quality And Marketing

Key Takeaways

  • •Eggs sold in the state must be healthy and good quality.
  • •Eggs should be sold in a standard way so it's fair for everyone.
  • •You can't trick people by putting wrong labels on egg boxes.

Example

You go to the store and buy a carton of eggs labeled 'Grade A Large.'

The law makes sure those eggs are really good quality and the right size, and not old or bad. If someone tries to sell you bad eggs in a fancy box, they're breaking the rules.
