§ 24963 Poultry Meat Health Standards

“Wholesome” means that the poultry or poultry meat is free from all of the following: (a) Physical evidence of any disease which is injurious to human health. (b) Diseases or conditions which have rendered or would render the poultry meat unsuited for human food. (c) Serious destruction of the flesh by disease or injury. (d) Contamination by any substance which is injurious to human health. (Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.)
