§ 10324 Director Rulemaking Authority

This law lets the director write rules that are needed to make this chapter work, and also lets the director ask for reports and records.

Key Takeaways

  • •The director can create regulations that are reasonably necessary.
  • •Those regulations are meant to carry out the chapter.
  • •The director can also require people to keep and turn in reports or records.

Example

A state environmental director tells factories to send a monthly report on how much waste they produce.

Because the law says the director can require reports, the factories must keep those records and send them as the director says.
