§ 6847 Delegate Pre-Convention Meetings

• •Delegates can meet before the big meeting to pick a leader for their group.
• •They can also fill any empty spots for delegates or backups during this meeting.
• •This is optional—they don’t have to do it if they don’t want to.

Imagine a school is sending kids to a big student council meeting. Before they go, the kids can meet to choose who will be in charge of their group.

If one of the kids can’t go, they can also pick someone else to take their place during this meeting.
