§ 6762 Delegate Nomination Group Size

Key Takeaways

  • •If you want to run for delegate in the Peace and Freedom Party, you have to fill out a nomination paper.
  • •The number of people you can list on that paper must match the total number of delegates the party is choosing.
  • •You can't list more or fewer people than the number of delegates needed.

Example

Imagine the Peace and Freedom Party is picking 5 delegates for a big meeting.

If you and your friends want to be those delegates, your nomination paper must list exactly 5 people. If you list 3 or 7, it won’t work.
