§ 88111 Continuous Eligibility Examinations

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can keep testing people for certain jobs if they can't just promote from inside.
  • •This is for jobs where they need to hire from outside, not just move people up.
  • •The tests can happen all the time, not just once in a while.

Example

A police department needs more officers but doesn't have enough qualified people inside to promote.

They can keep testing new people from outside to fill those officer jobs.
