§ 84911 Adult Education Needs Assessment

Key Takeaways

  • •The law says leaders must look at certain things to decide if adults need more education.
  • •They must check things like how many adults live in the area, how many have jobs, and how many can read well.
  • •They also look at how many people move to the area from other places and how much school adults have finished.

Example

A town has many new families moving in from other countries, and some adults struggle to read or find jobs.

The leaders must look at these things to decide if they need to offer more classes for adults to help them learn English, get better jobs, or finish school.
