§ 8330 Contract Payment And Evaluation Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •The government must tell companies what forms and reports they need to fill out for their contracts.
  • •They also explain how payments work, like when money can be taken back or stopped if the company doesn’t do the job.
  • •This info must be given before the contract is final, unless it’s already in the contract.

Example

A company gets a contract to build a new park.

Before the contract is signed, the government tells the company what forms to fill out, how they’ll get paid, and what happens if they don’t finish the park on time.
