§ 76035 Student Violence Reporting Requirement

• •If a student gets suspended or kicked out of community college for hurting or trying to hurt someone, the school must tell the police.
• •The school only tells the police about bad actions that could be against the law for hurting people.

A student gets into a fight at community college and hits another student really hard.

If the school suspends the student for this, they have to call the police and tell them what happened because hitting someone like that is against the law.
