§ 68101 Student Residency Classification Acceptance

Key Takeaways

  • •If you go to one community college in California, another community college can accept their decision about whether you live in California or not.
  • •This only works if you're taking an online class from another college through the California Virtual Campus.
  • •Your home college must confirm where you live, and both colleges must be part of the online course exchange.

Example

If you are a student at College A and want to take an online class from College B, College B can accept College A’s decision about whether you are a California resident.

This means you won’t have to prove where you live all over again just to take an online class at another college.
