§ 52770 College And Career Fairs

Key Takeaways

  • •If a high school (grades 9-12) is planning a college or career fair, they must tell nearby community colleges about it.
  • •The school must send the date, time, and location of the fair to the community colleges.
  • •The school can send this info by mail or email, but it has to be done before the fair happens.

Example

A high school is organizing a career fair where different companies and colleges will talk to students about jobs and education.

The high school must tell all the community colleges in their area about the fair. They need to share when and where the fair will be, and they have to do this before the fair happens, either by sending a letter or an email.
