§ 52500 Adult School Admission Rules

• •Adult schools and evening high schools are mainly for adults.
• •Kids under 18 can sometimes go to these classes if the school board allows it.
• •There’s a special rule (Section 52500.1) that explains when kids can join.

A 16-year-old wants to take a night class at an adult school to learn a trade.

The school can let them in if the school board says it’s okay and follows the rules in Section 52500.1.
