§ 49300 School Safety Patrol Authority

The governing board of any school district may, subject to such rules and regulations as shall be adopted by the State Board of Education, establish and maintain a school safety patrol in any of the schools of the district for the purpose of assisting school pupils in safely crossing streets and highways adjacent to or near such school. (Enacted by Stats. 1976, Ch. 1010.)
