§ 39880 Contract Conflict Exemption

(a) To the extent that the requirements of this article conflict with a contract entered into between a local educational agency and a private entity before January 1, 2024, this article shall not apply until the expiration or renewal of that contract. (b) As used in this section, “local educational agency” means a school district, county office of education, charter school, entity providing services under a school transportation joint powers agreement, or regional occupational center or program.
