§ 33552 Commission Member Expense Reimbursement

Key Takeaways

  • •People on the commission don't get paid for their work.
  • •They can get money back for things like travel or other costs they had to pay while doing their job.
  • •This only covers real and needed expenses, not extra or unnecessary ones.

Example

A member of the commission travels to a meeting in another city.

They can get their money back for gas, hotel, or food they needed for the trip, but they won’t get paid just for being on the commission.
