§ 18335 Election Result Reporting

• •People in charge of elections must tell the big bosses (board of supervisors) how the voting went.
• •They have to do this within 5 days after the election happens.
• •This is to make sure everyone knows the results fast and nothing is hidden.

After a school votes for a new class president, the teachers counting the votes must tell the principal the results.

Just like the teachers have to tell the principal quickly, election workers must tell the board of supervisors the election results within 5 days.
