§ 17359 Factory-Built School Exemptions

• •This law says that some other rules (Sections 17266, 17268, 17300, 17302, and 17309) don't apply to factory-built school buildings.
• •But, the people making, selling, or leasing these school buildings still have to follow all the other rules in this article.
• •This law started working on January 1, 1998.

A company builds school classrooms in a factory and sells them to schools.

This company doesn't have to follow the usual building rules listed in those other sections, but they must follow the special rules for factory-built schools in this article.
